Movie still from John Hughes 1980s classic, Sixteen Candles.
As we try to go about out daily business, we have to acknowledge the heightened attention given to the Asian community this past year, and think about conversations that we ought to be having. Why are we still concentrating on peoples' foreign characteristics instead of human characteristics?

Long Duk Dong, from the movie Sixteen Candles, continues to leave an impression on its viewers. Whether you thought it was funny at the time, or if it gave you great pains to see, we still need to question why this sort of representation still happens— and what we can do to stop it.

Our parking lot on the SOUTH side of the building is now open for pick up orders. If you opted in to Order Updates, you can let us know you've arrived by responding to your order confirmation. You can also call us to let us know you are here by calling us or ringing the doorbell. We often only have one person at the desk, so please have patience when you call us or pick up your order.

Service Charge for all orders.
Rainbow is charging a 20% service charge on all orders to support fair and predictable wages for all staff, and to offset the costs related to the pandemic. Across the board, restaurants have had to change their way of business during this past year. For us, that meant reducing hours of work for our employees, deploying new infrastructure, and building a new website for easier online ordering. We want to be able to provide fair and predictable wages for our staff in this time of uncertainty.

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 177.23, subdivision 9, this charge is not a gratuity for employee service.
