At the Farmer's Market
Coming Soon: "The Morning Glory" Arne Palmer
Last weekend, if you dropped in at the Farmer's Market you would have seen Tammy's special edition Arne Palmer: The Morning Glory. This special Chinese tea changes color from red to deep purple depending its temperature. It'll be back on the menu soon, but for now we'll stick to the usual offerings. Look for it in the coming weeks. (We call it Arne Palmer instead of Arnold Palmer because, we're in Minnesota.)
We will be at the Minneapolis Farmer's Market on Lyndale, both Saturday & Sunday, July 31st & August 1st. You can view the menu & order here: Our Online Farmer's Market Menu. Items are available on-site at the markets.

Free drink on us: Get a free Farmer's Market drink with 100 loyalty points. You must join the Rainbow Rewards program and make your purchase through Square. For each $10 you spend, you'll get 25 points.

Feeling snappy? Take a picture or video with your Farmer's Market purchase from Rainbow, if we re-post it, we'll tag you for a free Farmer's Market drink on your next visit.

Forget the cold, it's Minnesota Gold!
Winners beget winners: Superstar gymnast Simone Biles, (right) who bravely stepped out of the Olympic competition to take care of her mental health, cheers on her teammate, Hmong-American and Minnesota native, Suni Lee
History lesson: Hmong, an ethnic group made of people primarily from Southeast Asia and areas in China, fought alongside the U.S. in the Vietnam War. After losing most of their land in the war, many Hmong fled to Thailand as refugees. By the late ‘70s and ‘80s, around 90 percent of the refugee population had resettled in the U.S., where there are now 18 Hmong clans, the largest residing in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Learn more here: A stateless nation Hmong people
"Find you a friend, a teammate who will celebrate your personal victories as their own."
"While training for a wildly unpredictable games, Lee has been caring for her recently paralyzed father, mourning the deaths of her aunt and uncle due to COVID, and recovering from a broken foot that jeopardized her lifelong dream to win gold." Read more at Elle Magazine: Inside Suni Lee's Journey.
The need for self-care and mental breaks can be difficult to acknowledge, especially if you are a small business owner. Chef Tammy is busy taking care of her parents, two households, her restaurant, the Farmers Market and still trying to recover from a foot injury from last year. She still looks forward to seeing new and familiar faces at Farmer's Market, stop by the market to show your support.
