The Asian-American community has long-awaited a Sesame Street puppet that could be a friend and role-model to our segment of the American population. Welcome, Ji-Young, whose name means wise & courageous, but also can mean "sesame". Some of us learned how to speak English, the ABCs & 123s via Sesame Street.  We learned to assimilate and learn cultural norms and how to communicate. Having a Korean-American (or any Asian muppet) on the show, has been a long-awaited welcome. Not only do we finally have some representation, but we can start to normalize Asian culture instead of purely Asian Pop Culture-the Korean pop culture that is highly televised, made-for-media and far more foreign than what is normal every day Asian American life.

Holiday Menu is in the works

Be on the lookout for news about our holiday menu, we are trying something new. Since we had great success with the Lunar New Year Menu, and Christmas orders kicked our a-- last year, we need to make some menu changes for this busy holiday. We will offering a curated coursed dinner, that's full of familiar favorites, and not out-of-reach.  Stay tuned.

Covid Update

We are still a take-out only operation, and we don't know if and when we will open up to dine-in. The dining room has been used as dry storage for the past year and the seating area by the front windows is still the plant nursery. Soon: We will have a waiting space indoors for you to pick up your order. Stay tuned for this update.

Our parking lot on the SOUTH side of the building is now open for pick up orders. If you opted in to Order Updates, you can let us know you've arrived by responding to your order confirmation. You can also call us to let us know you are here by calling us or ringing the doorbell. We often only have one person at the desk, so please have patience when you call us or pick up your order.
