Less meat, How to make everything a soup, and Lunar New Year

A little less meat? It's your choice.
Do you have a New Year's resolution to cut down on meat? We can help you with that, many of your favorite dishes have a meat substitute option. Start at the Chicken or Beef section. Hidden in the drop-down menus are meatless options, you can swap out the meat for Fried Tofu, Steamed Tofu, or Mock Duck. We made the options available to only the best candidates for meatless dishes, not every dish will work.
Refer to the image above for a clue to where to find these options.

In the future, we will be bringing in more vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. These are still in the works, but keep a lookout, they may be showing up on the Lunar New Year Menu!

How to make everything a soup
CREATE YOUR OWN BIG BOWL NOODLE SOUP 🍜 🔰
CREATE YOUR OWN BIG BOWL NOODLE SOUP 🍜 🔰$7.00
Have you noticed how cold it is? Warm up with a DIY soup. First choose the item, "CREATE YOUR OWN BIG BOWL NOODLE SOUP" and choose a noodle. Next pick something you'd like in a soup from another part of the menu. What can you put in a soup? Anything! Some things that work really well are Steamed Veggie Dumplings, Peapod Mushroom Chow Fun, Gai Lan, Vegetable Curry, Sate Summer beef.

There are endless variations you can make with these two ingredients:
When you order our ANY of our Big Bowl Noodle Soups, the broth always comes on the side, and the noodles come in a carton. Experiment!

Instant soup: You can use a little bit of broth to pour over your dish of choice, for an instant soup. I recommend Chicken Chow Fun for a Chinese Chicken noodle soup with fat ribbon noodles.
Make a noodle dish we hadn't thought of: You can use the plain noodles that came in the carton to add to your non-soup dish as well, I recommend Fried tofu mixed vegetables and black bean sauce on top of the Big fun noodles. Or, add them to an existing noodle dish to have double noodles.
Congee-cheat: You can pour a little bit of broth over your rice or fried rice to make a porridge. Remember "Karen the Queen of Congee"? With a little help from our made to-order dishes and our home-made stock, you can conjure up some congee of your own.

These are just experimental suggestions, try at your own leisure!

Lunar New Year is February 1st
The year of the Tiger is coming up fast, and we will have a selection of limited-time items on the menu. Keep checking your email to be the first to learn when you can order them!

Lunar New Year can get hectic for us, so we will be following holiday protocol and taking orders online only, first-come-first served. The online ordering system manages the speed at which the pick up times happen, we rely on this to keep the orders manageable, to prevent being overwhelmed.

Just as dinner reservations get booked months out, and ticketed events such as concerts and festivals let you know how to purchase your experience almost a year in advance, we are turning to technology to give everyone a fair chance to dine with us on this upcoming holiday. So again, Lunar New Years menu is available only online, more details to come.
